Terms of service
Last updated October 28, 2026
TeamSpot is operated by Uyar Consulting Partners LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as TeamSpot (“TeamSpot”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between Uyar Consulting Partners LLC and the dance studio or business that signs up (“the studio”), and every person who uses TeamSpot with it (“you”). Everyone accepts them before using TeamSpot, and again when they change. Our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy are part of these terms.
Your account
- The person who signs up confirms they can agree to these terms for the studio.
- Admins decide who is on the team and what they can do. Keep sign-in emails secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account, and the studio for what happens under its team's accounts.
What people post
The Acceptable Use Policy sets out in full what's allowed. In short:
- TeamSpot doesn't monitor or review what people post: messages, announcements, notes, photos, videos and files go straight to the studio's team.
- Each person is responsible for what they post, and the studio is responsible for how its team uses TeamSpot.
- Don't post anything that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, sexual or explicit, or that shares someone else's private information without their permission.
- Don't use TeamSpot to try to get at other studios' information, or to disrupt the service.
Students and minors
- The studio is responsible for having permission from parents or guardians before photos, videos or information about students (many of them children) are shared in TeamSpot, and for following families' wishes, such as photo opt-outs, and the law where it operates.
- Never post images of anyone, and especially children, that are inappropriate, or that show them in a state of undress.
Reporting and removal
If you see something in TeamSpot that breaks these terms, tell your studio's admin, or us at support@teamspot.app. Studio admins can remove content in their studio. When we learn of a serious problem, we may remove content, suspend accounts, or report it to the authorities where the law requires.
Your content
- What the studio's team adds stays the studio's. You let us store and process it only to provide TeamSpot.
- Only add what you have the right to share.
Plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly per studio (or per location for multi-location businesses), through Stripe.
- You can change plans or cancel any time in Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Moving to a smaller plan hides features but doesn't delete anything.
- Each plan includes a storage allowance. Videos can be kept in your studio's own Google Drive instead.
- Subscriptions aren't refunded for the unused part of a billing period, except where the law requires.
- Expert setup is a one-time payment. It's fully refunded if you ask before we start the setup work; once we've started, it isn't refundable.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes may apply where required.
Third-party services
If the studio connects its Google Drive, its use of it is also covered by Google's terms, and the videos stay in its Drive under its control. See the privacy policy for what TeamSpot can access.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TeamSpot running and your information safe, but it's provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features; we'll give notice before changes that significantly reduce what a plan includes. When these terms change, we'll ask you to accept them again.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, TeamSpot isn't liable for what people post, or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what the studio paid us in the twelve months before the claim. The studio agrees to cover TeamSpot for claims that arise from its team's content or its use of TeamSpot.
Ending
You can stop using TeamSpot at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or go unpaid. After an account closes, its information is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please contact us at support@teamspot.app so we can try to resolve it informally; most concerns are sorted out this way. Any dispute that isn't resolved is handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you and the studio agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
General
- These terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about TeamSpot between you and us.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part right away doesn't mean we give it up.
- We may transfer these terms if TeamSpot is sold or reorganized; the studio may transfer them only with our consent.
- We send notices to the studio's admins in the app or by email; you can reach us at the address below.
